Who is it?
Vibes of the Caribbean
On Wednesday 1st February Marcella and Junior visited school with their steel pans. They entertained all of KS2 with a 30 minute performance playing Caribbean, pop, sport and Nursery tunes finishing with the Conga.
They then ran 2 workshops for Year 6 giving them a chance to dance, sing and learn about the manufacture and history of steel drums and then play them.
What did you think about the performance, and Year 6 what did you think about the workshops?
Big Maths
I taught Big Maths today and thoroughly enjoyed it. What do all you children think about Big Maths? Good or bad!
Kindles
I wonder who knows what a Kindle is and who got one for Christmas (I did!). We have borrowed 6 Kindles from Bradford and children in Year 6 are going to try them out. If they like them we may get a set for school so all classes can share them.
Blogging galore!
It’s lovely to see all the classes now beginning to blog. I’ve even seen some parents on here!
I’m teaching Big Maths tomorrow, I hope everyone is well behaved!
